Avocet Aircraft

Avocet Aircraft designs and manufactures experimental general aviation aircraft, led by the AV24 — a clean-sheet kit-plane design developed through computational fluid dynamics and finite element analysis, engineered for predictable flight characteristics and excellent spin resistance at LSA-comparable performance.

What we built:

• Custom WordPress site — built to present real aerospace engineering credibly to a technical audience
• Specification-driven content structure — cruising speed, empty weight, load limits, and CFR Title 14 Part 23 regulatory compliance presented clearly without turning into an impenetrable spec sheet
• Engineering imagery and process documentation — design-process visuals that make a complex product accessible without dumbing down the details that matter to evaluators
• Direct contact access — phone and email surfaced prominently, reflecting a business built on personalized service rather than a large sales operation

The audience is a genuinely technical one: experimental aircraft builders and general aviation pilots who read specification tables closely before ever picking up the phone. Presenting real aerospace engineering in a way that stays credible to technical buyers without turning into an impenetrable spec sheet was the core design problem — the site design leans on engineering imagery and design-process documentation to do that work.

For a small, early-stage manufacturer, the site also had to carry real weight as the primary point of contact — direct phone and email access reflect a business built on personalized service rather than a large sales operation.
